Become a Member

Welcome to the RMA – founded in 1954 to foster fellowship, service, and volunteerism.  Membership is open to men (55+) from Greenwich and the surrounding towns in Fairfield and Westchester Counties.

The RMA meets regularly on Wednesday mornings in the Parish Hall at Christ Church Greenwich, 254 E Putnam Avenue (directions), Greenwich, CT.  Meetings start at 9:45 AM (members start to gather at 9:00 AM).  This is followed by a coffee break, and then a speaker presentation from 11:00 AM – Noon.

You can start the membership process in-person by attending and checking in with the RMA greeter at the welcome desk.  Your presence will be registered (name, e-mail, phone) into our candidate pipeline and issued a temporary name badge and membership packet.

The membership process:

• Attend at least two (2) membership meetings as a guest.
  • You will be Introduced as a guest during the membership meeting.
• Candidates will need a sponsor.
  • We can assist in finding you a sponsor.
• Complete and submit the RMA membership application/bio.
  • A candidate can qualify for Induction as soon as the third (3rd) meeting he attends.
  • Date of induction is agreed on by you, your sponsor(s) & the membership chairman
• Dues are $ 125.00 per year, pro-rated by the date of Induction.

While a guest or a candidate, you are welcome to participate in most of our events.  For example, you can join RMA activity groups such as golf, tennis or bridge, or help with RMA operations to learn more about our organization and meet members.
