Volunteering

One the Retired Men’s Association's missions is to promote and support VOLUNTEERISM in the Town of Greenwich, and elsewhere as consistent with our non-partisan requirement.

Members also volunteer to make our organization work well.  Our membership regularly contributes more than 15,000 hours per year of volunteer time to support the quality of life in Greenwich, as we provide our time, skills, energy and interest to help run organizations that help children, seniors, Town government, local sports activities, our Library, Community Answers, the Salvation Army, Red Cross and many others.

Please see our list below of the many “External” organizations where our members assist our Community.  Our “Internal” list details the organizations and activities for our membership.  Please contact the gentlemen listed below to suggest your suggestions about where volunteers are needed or to improve our ability to accomplish our Mission.

Volunteer - RMA community roles

Engaging in these community support roles enables members to both get to know other members and complete the processes and projects that enable the organization to run well.
