An encore the 2024 revival of "Tosca" by Giacomo Puccini, will be streamed via Met Live HD on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 @3 pm at Regal Cinemas New Rochelle. Critics are raving about the staging and cast. "Tosca" is ranked 4th most important opera by the cognoscenti. It was written in 1899 and premiered on January 14, 1900, at the Teatro dell ‘Opera di Roma. Tosca is a political thriller set in Rome in June 1800 (during the Napoleonic wars and a time of great political unrest). The action occurs in 24 hours, making it an intense experience!

Steps to take:

2. Purchase your tickets - $26.69 each - through the Metropolitan Opera online ticket office. 

Members who have been to the theater recommend the seats toward the back of the house. The front row seats may create some neck-aches...

3. Make your dining plans. The opera starts at 1:00 PM.

MSG is a huge arena with multiple seating options. Premium seating is very expensive and mostly sold out. “Nosebleed” seats in the 3^rd and 4^th tiers are the least costly, but so far from the court, it will be hard to see the action without binoculars. The best affordable seats for this RMA Event are in Section 213. See the seating plan below.
