When: Saturday, April 18, 2026
Time: 9:30am - 12:00pm
Where: Island Beach Parking Lot across from Town Ferry Dock
Cost: $4 per box of paper
Maximum: 4 boxes per car. Box size ~ 12”x18”x12”, (size similar to a case of wine)
What: Sensitive documents shredded on-site
- Old Financial, Legal, Tax, Social Security, Medical documents
- Remove all metal & plastic: clips, bindings, covers, binders
- Shreds will be properly recycled to save trees
- Volunteers from Boys & Girls Club will be ready to remove boxes from your car. Please be sure boxes are not too heavy for others to lift.
Neighbor-to-Neighbor food bank
Drop off canned foods for donation to Neighbor-to-Neighbor food bank. Foods that are always needed: Canned Chicken & Tuna, Canned Vegetables & Fruits, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Pasta & Sauce, Soup, Rice, Beans, Cereal. Toiletries are also needed: Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Deodorant, Soap, Shampoo. Sample sizes are happily accepted. Please do not donate expired products.
