Volunteers

The Volunteer Committee encourages volunteerism by RMA Members and records Member’s volunteer hours both inside the RMA and with outside organizations.
Hours are volunteered, without compensation, to any charitable, educational, business, scientific or governmental organizations that promote the common good. The Committee Chairman assigns team members to record volunteer hours at each Member Meeting using a spreadsheet program on a laptop.

RMA Members reporting the most hours during a 12 month period are recognized at the Annual Dinner. This is important to the RMA because it demonstrates the contributions made by RMA members to our communities and gives the organization recognition for the important services it provides.
